Today I read the online paper and find a distressing article about injury to the Australian wildlife during bushfires.
Someone said that Australia's climate and environs was very unforgiving. This caused me to wonder about how the koala's, kangaroos and not doubt many other Australian wildlife seem to connect quite closely with humans when they need water or food in times of drought, which are prevalent in this dry land.
At times there does look to be a very interested connection happening, as can be seen in a meeting I had with a kookaburra recently who had stayed behind when the others had flown off, Now for some odd reason kookaburra seemed to be as interested in me as I was in he/she. Or am I imagining it?
